Love this house. First--the location is terrific--right in town and walking distance to about everything that we needed (other than golf and fishing - which were convenient enough with a bus ride). Great hikes and bike paths just outside the door. Second, the house itself is really well done--lots of custom cabinets and wood work and high end (Wolf or maybe Thermadore (I think)) appliances. We also enjoyed the hot tub --right out the back bedroom. You can't really do much better in a rental IMO. We would definitely like to come back and stay here during ski season (though I suspect it may be a tad more expense in the ski season than our summer rate) Note (and this relates really only to summer stays/not an issue in the winter) There is no air conditioning at the house (and it seems like there isn't at any of the other houses on the block). We didn't miss it at all as at got nice and brisk (good sleeping temps) in the evening.
We have stayed in this house for the past 2 winters during ski season and decided to come for a visit this summer and do some hiking. We have been coming to Park City for 20 years and this is by far, the nicest house we ever rented. The owners are lovely to work with and the property is first rate. It has all the amenities we could ask for and the proximity to the town and the ski lift is great! It is well-maintained and beautifully furnished and appointed. Pour a glass of wine and sit on the deck and enjoy the sunset. You can walk to town for dinner or cook for yourself in the well-supplied kitchen. There is even a garage for one car-a premium in a town like Park City, and a welcome treat in the winter. We recommend this house very highly. One of the best deals in town!
What a perfect home! I was in town for a conference; my colleagues and I rented a house to have more flexibility than a hotel can afford. Decked out with all of the amenities, I felt like we were in a high-end resort with a ton of space (and our own full kitchen!). This house is only blocks from the ski lift, as well as the great restaurants of Old Town. Perfect if you want all of the access to Park City without the late night noise that punctuates Main Street.
What a wonderful stay at this beautiful Park City Home. Location cannot be beat, easy 5 minute walk from Main Street and all the restaurants, shops and festivities. The house is amazing with many high end upgrades. The mail floor is a beautiful, spacious room with a fireplace and glass doors that open to a spacious deck. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and cosy. Hot tub cannot be beat, so relaxing after a long day of hiking. Can't wait to go back during ski season as the lift is a 3 minute walk from the House. Fabulous home , highest if recommendations. Don't miss it.
We arrived in Park City from California for a 3 night/day get together with family. We are a family of parents, daughter and son-in-law with a 1 yr grandson and our son with his girlfriend. This beautiful home couldn't have been more perfect for our family. Each couple had their own master bedroom and bathroom. In addition, the master bedroom on the top floor had a separate little area 4 stairs above the bedroom that was perfect for the porta crib. The bathrooms are wonderful; very large. The construction is solid and the colors are very appealing. The shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and soap are l'occitane products, top drawer! The beds are comfortable and the bedding compliments the room and the decor. The whole house is tastefully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil, pot, pan and serving dish needed to cook and serve a gourmet meal. In addition, the kitchen has a variety of spices, oils, and miscellaneous items. The front deck is a wonderful extension of the living room and a great place to eat at the outdoor table. The view looks across to the hills of Park City. The entire home is tastefully decorated and the quality craftsmanship allows you to enjoy being home as much as wanting to explore Park City and beyond. The location to old town is perfectly situated for an easy leisurely walk. We even enjoyed a cozy wood burning fire in the fireplace with logs provided by the owner. The house has radiant heat which heats the floor and makes for cozy feet! We enjoyed the hot tub, too! The jets are strong and perfect for sore muscles and relaxation. The owner thought of every detail in the home to make it a vacation we will not soon forget. We whole heartedly recommend this home for your next vacation to Park City.
Thank you so much for your review and detailed description of this Park City old town home and everything it has to offer. While Park City is always gorgeous, I'm so glad your trip coincided with the wonderful fall colors and you were able to see Park City in all it's glory. I look forward to your return visit, and I hope you'll have the opportunity to stay longer on your next trip. Really appreciate all the wonderful details of this home that you pointed out and I hope all my guests have as great of time as you and your family.
Our two adult children joined us from California for Christmas in this lovely home. The layout was perfect for 4 adults. Our kids each had a bedroom and private bath, and the master bedroom was great for my wife and me. We were able to walk to the Town Lift and to Main Street. The location is really ideal. There are wonderful restaurants and bars in Park City, and we had apre ski daily and dinner out a couple of nights. Being able to walk was a plus and made our stay really enjoyable. The house is quite luxurious and had everything we needed. We had such a nice stay that we are planning our return visit.
Just got home from a great trip to Park City. Stayed in this house with another family and three boys ages 5 & 6. Layout is perfect as all the boys shared a room and was far enough away from main level so that we didn't disturb them once they were in bed. Easy walk to Park city mountain and the bus stop is a 5 min walk (with 3 boys and all ski equipment) so probably only 2-3 min with out all this. Hope to make this an annual trip and plan to stay at this house again!
The apartment was beautifully appointed and is well stocked for cooking and laundry. has everything one needs. the one challenge is perhaps for people who have trouble walking up the many different levels (bedroom in basement, level 2 and 3) in the house and also to main street (have to climb uphill back to the house). The house number is not prominently visible and was scary at first when we tried to look for it as the rest of the street had some rather shabby looking houses. so it was a great relief to find the flat so well kept and beautifully done. The booking process was very smooth but was a bit dismayed to be charged a processing fee for the refund of the deposit. but still, it was good and Patti was very nice and helpful throughout the process.
Hi Sara, Thank you so much for your 5 star review and glad you had a wonderful time! The home is a stand alone house (not an apartment) and is in the heart of Old Town Park City which is located in the Wasatch mountains at 7,000 feet above sea level. Park City in general is very hilly and it is certainly a challenge to have both a house practically on the ski slopes while still being flat, single level, and have no stairs to climb to Main Street. The majority of Old Town homes are vertical and even farther from Main Street (with more hills and more steps to climb!). The neighborhood is very safe with the average home cost being over a million dollars. As we discussed prior to your making a reservation, there would be a small additional fee if you used a non USA credit card. We subsidized the fees by almost 50% as we showed you on our email. We do not charge a fee for returning a security deposit, we only deduct any fees that had not been paid up front (in this case, the ~ $30). Thank you again and hope you come back another time to enjoy Park City.
The location and the home were great for parents and young teenagers. My wife doesn't ski but enjoyed staying in this home with an upgraded interior/furnishings/amenities as opposed to a typical ski rental. It is a short two minute walk in ski boots to the town lift and an equally easy walk into town. We had two families and the interior layout and the ability to park one car in the garage and one in the driveway was a bonus. As someone who has ski vacationed in Park City since I was a child, this is one of the top places I have stayed and will definitely be renting this home on my next visit to Park City.
We rented this property for a week of early season skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this immaculate home! Loved the huge rock, wood-burning fireplace and the gourmet kitchen. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable and the entire house is beautifully appointed yet comfortable and conducive to casual mountain living. The location of this house couldn't be any better---so convenient to walk to Main Street and all the shops and restaurants as well as to the main street lift. It's really in the middle of everything. The views are magnificent. It is an excellent value for the price. We loved the owner and found her to be very nice to deal with. We will definitely be renting this house on our next trip to Park City. Thanks for making our ski vacation perfect!
